General Business Hours: M-F: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Shift: 40 hours per week. Eligible for approved overtime.

Managed by (Title): Branch Manager and/or Assigned Retail Loan Officer

Compensation: $19.50 - $23.50 per hour + bonuses and incentives

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

Fulfilling, collaborative, and exciting opportunity working side by side with the best loan originators in the business. You will be supporting a Retail Loan Officer by providing outstanding customer service to their clients and referral partners throughout the mortgage loan process. You will play an integral role in creating new business opportunities through innovative and creative marketing efforts through diverse mediums under the direction of the Retail Loan Officer. Overall position objective is to increase the assigned Retail Loan Officer’s relationships, closed loan units, closed loan volume and assist in creating high-level customer experience for borrowers and referral partners. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Technical Knowledge, Years of Related Experience, Skills, Licenses, and Systems Experience

  1. Education: Minimum of a high school diploma required. College Degree in Business or Finance preferred, but not required.
  2. Skills: Detail oriented with strong follow-up skills. Basic math skills (at least a middle school grade level). Interpersonal skills that forge professional relationships and support, strong oral, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, write and communicate at a level consistent with the requirements of this position and to generate independents leads for new business. Strong skillset in social media marketing and ability to gain customer interaction with such marketing techniques.
  3. Systems: Experience using Empower Loan Management Software preferred but training is provided. Other systems/platforms are used daily such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, DocuSign, Social Media and more.

TRAINING REQUIRED

Participate in additional training on sales, technology, products, procedures and pricing on an ongoing basis. Complete annual training as required by company policy and law on an annual basis in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Loan Officer in establishing, developing, and maintaining client referral relationships with realtors, builders, developers, CPA’s, financial planners, etc. and initiating outreach to potential or existing customers in order to develop new business and/or retain existing business.
  • Assist the Loan Officer in deliver up to date information to clients with speed and clear communication.
  • Act as the primary contact between Loan Officer and Marketing to help coordinate and participate in tradeshows, open houses, seminars and other business development events.
  • Take lead in promoting and branding Loan Officer via various channels including social media and engaging customers and partners on social sites.
  • Maintain Loan Officer’s CRM to ensure prospects, active clients and closed loans are touched on a regular basis with the goal of identifying new referral activity.
  • Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures to represent Embrace as a leading lender.
  • Participate in branch/headquarter meetings that require attendance to increase knowledge of process updates professional development.
  • Assist in providing high level customer service to all parties involved on each individual loan that is originated, but not limited to: responding to referral partner and borrower calls.
  • Follow through on all professional conditions and education requirements for licensure (if applicable) to ensure compliance in all business transactions.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient results.
  • Keep up to date with changing rules, regulations, and guidelines from FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA in addition to other investors and agencies.

Performing such duties and assuming other responsibilities as may be assigned.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES

Attend and participate in all Monthly Awards Ceremonies, Corporate Gatherings & Training Events. Read all newsletters and bulletins to remain current on corporate policies, procedures, and developments.

DRIVER ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES

This position requires reliable transportation and the operation of a motor vehicle from time to time in order to perform your required job duties. Drivers must have a valid driver's license of the State they reside in. Additionally, drivers should have at least 2 years of driving experience and be at least 18 years old. Embrace Home Loans reserves the right to enforce additional driver eligibility guidelines as required by law.
