Position Summary:

ROLE OBJECTIVE:
  • Collaborate with the Casino Marketing Director to create and manage content aimed at expanding audience reach and fostering engagement through consistent social media postings across various platforms.
  • Assist the CEO/General Manager in supporting the Creative Coordinator with graphic design, advertising initiatives, and brand management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate engaging content to attract and maintain audience interaction on social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TripAdvisor.
  • Oversee the guest service initiative by analyzing social media feedback, TripAdvisor reviews, and customer comments, ensuring timely and appropriate responses are made.
  • Engage with community feedback in real-time, providing accurate responses to inquiries and concerns through social media channels.
  • Act as the primary contact for the resort's web presence, working closely with the Creative Coordinator to uphold brand standards.
  • Foster effective communication and professional relationships with various internal departments.
  • Coordinate with departmental leaders to capture and share images of property amenities, events, and team members for social media promotion.
  • Timely publication of event photo collections and maintenance of a library of promotional images.
  • Design and implement engaging social media contests aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Evaluate social media performance and provide actionable insights, recommending strategies for enhancing online engagement.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on social media progress and competitive analysis to Marketing and Executive teams.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends in social media marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Coordinator to ensure all artistic content aligns with brand integrity.
  • Support the Creative Coordinator with digital art tasks as needed.
  • Assist the Marketing team in promoting and actively engaging with the resort's offerings.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

While fulfilling the responsibilities of this role, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Possess the ability to observe with close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
ACCESS TO SENSITIVE INFORMATION:
  • Access to marketing and casino services data.
  • Access to proprietary systems.
  • Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding all marketing operations and sensitive information.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Work primarily indoors in a climate-controlled office setting, with occasional outdoor tasks.
  • Exposure to various maintenance chemicals.
  • Work in a moderate to loud noise environment, particularly on the casino floor.
  • Collaborative workspace with other team members.
  • Work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, requiring the ability to de-escalate guest service issues while maintaining professionalism.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in social media and/or email marketing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, problem-solving aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, as well as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Demonstrated experience across all social media platforms.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the public and colleagues.
  • Capability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, motivated, and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in Casino Marketing.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with HTML.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Washington State Gaming and Quinault Tribal License (Class III).
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License in good standing for company insurance purposes.
