Position Summary:

OBJECTIVE:
  • Collaborate with the Casino Marketing Director to curate and manage content aimed at expanding audience reach and fostering engagement through consistent posts across various social media channels. Act as the primary liaison for all digital marketing and online presence initiatives.
  • Assist the CEO/General Manager in supporting the Creative Coordinator with tasks related to Graphic Design, Advertising, and Brand Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate engaging content to enhance audience interaction through daily updates on social media platforms for Quinault Beach Resort and Casino, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TripAdvisor.
  • Oversee the guest service initiative by monitoring social media feedback, TripAdvisor reviews, and customer comments, ensuring timely and appropriate responses by collaborating with relevant departments.
  • Engage with community feedback in real-time, providing accurate and prompt responses to inquiries and concerns via social media.
  • Serve as the primary contact for the resort's web pages, working closely with the Creative Coordinator to maintain brand consistency.
  • Establish and nurture effective communication and professional relationships with internal teams.
  • Coordinate with departmental leaders to capture images of property amenities, events, and team members for social media use.
  • Timely publication of event photo albums and maintenance of a library of promotional images for marketing purposes.
  • Design and implement engaging social media contests aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Evaluate social media performance and provide actionable insights to enhance online engagement, regularly analyzing brand and competitor discussions.
  • Prepare and present monthly social media performance and competitive analysis reports to Marketing and Executive teams.
  • Stay informed on industry trends related to social media marketing and emerging strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Coordinator on all artistic content and ensure brand integrity.
  • Assist in digital art projects as needed.
  • Support marketing initiatives and actively engage with the community at Quinault Beach Resort and Casino.
  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

While executing these responsibilities, the employee is frequently required to:
  • Reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Possess visual acuity for close and distance vision, color differentiation, and depth perception.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
ACCESS TO SENSITIVE INFORMATION:
  • Access to marketing and casino services data.
  • Utilization of proprietary systems.
  • Must uphold the highest confidentiality standards regarding all marketing and proprietary information.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Work is primarily conducted indoors in a climate-controlled office setting, with occasional outdoor tasks.
  • Exposure to various maintenance chemicals.
  • Typically operates in a moderate to loud noise environment, particularly on the casino floor.
  • Workspaces may be close quarters with other employees.
  • Must effectively manage guest service challenges while maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in social media and/or email marketing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, as well as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various social media platforms.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills with the public and fellow employees.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, motivated, and willing to work extended hours.
  • Capacity to handle competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in Casino Marketing.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with HTML.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Washington State Gaming and Quinault Tribal License (Class III).
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License in good standing.
