Position Overview:
The Business Development Associate will play a critical role in identifying and developing new business opportunities in the construction industry. This position involves researching potential leads, generating new accounts, and actively promoting our products through cold calling, email marketing, and outreach efforts. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated to exceed sales goals while building strong partnerships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research to identify potential leads in the construction industry, including builders, contractors, developers, and project managers.
  • Initiate contact with prospects via cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach methods to generate interest and schedule appointments.
  • Develop and implement targeted email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and promote our products.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads, updating and tracking progress in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales and design teams to create customized solutions for clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new opportunities.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly, maintaining excellent communication with prospects and customers.
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote the company.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong ability to research and identify potential leads using online tools, databases, and networking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and professional phone presence.
  • Experience with cold calling and email marketing campaigns is required.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to manage leads and track performance.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth.
  • Knowledge of cabinets, closets, or flooring products is a plus but not required.
