Currently we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to join our executive team and lead our business development efforts, which is essential to delivering on our mission because we know that when we serve more, we help more.

Job Summary:
As the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), you will be responsible for winning and executing contracts to achieve revenue and growth goals. Key metrics include revenue generation, customer relations, business development, and program management.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years in business development, program management, or federal acquisition/contract management, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role and five years as a member of the Senior Executive Service.
  • Certification: U.S. Government Program Management Level 1, Contracting Officer, or Contracting Officer’s Representative.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and achieving revenue targets in a government contracting environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Experience in the Department of Defense.
  • Active or previous security clearance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive growth strategy and strategic initiatives that align organizational objectives with market dynamics.
  • Manage and motivate the team responsible for the implementation of growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as COO and CFO, to implement growth initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the budget and technology required for growth initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and business ventures.
  • Oversee all growth-related functions, including business development, marketing, and sales.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies focused on obtaining new business opportunities and entering new markets.
  • Lead the business development team to identify and secure new contracts and projects.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and potential clients.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient execution of the business development lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract award.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Vice Presidents for the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security Programs and other program heads.
  • Monitor program execution, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and government regulations.
  • Establish a consolidated program management approach for all program implementations.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the company’s brand and market presence.
  • Drive sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the growth functions.
  • Identify and implement best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance business development and marketing efforts.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of business development, marketing, and sales professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Ensure professional development and training opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Play a pivotal role in formulating and executing merger and acquisition strategies.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to prioritize customer satisfaction and retention strategies.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on growth performance to the CEO and other executive team members.
  • Serve as a key member of the executive team and contribute to the overall direction and strategy of the company.
