What We Need:

Obagi is seeking a resourceful Supply Chain Planning Coordinator to assist in the development and deliverables of global supply chain sourcing strategies. This role will ensure that the coordination of inventory and its components are planned alongside third-party contract manufacturers and manage all designated projects and processes from beginning to end alongside the rest of the global supply chain team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain strategic business partnerships with assigned suppliers and external stakeholders to review delivery status, issues, expediting, and resolution.
  • Create and deploy supply requirements to achieve production, inventory, and cost objectives based on weeks of supply targets.
  • Manage planning parameters in ERP to optimally plan supply for global contract manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning to understand changes in forecasts and impacts to supply.
  • Proactively review forecasts and inventory levels to place purchase orders based on optimal price and quantities across US and International SKU variants.
  • Interact with Operations and Logistics partners to ship finished goods to 3PLs
  • Run weekly production details report and update PO delivery dates in the ERP system as needed.
  • Collaborate with International teams and customers to understand needs, work with vendors to place purchase orders, and work with customer service / sales teams to process orders once inventory is available
  • Partner with business stakeholders to enhance operating procedures for efficiencies
  • Escalate issues internal stakeholders within Quality, Marketing, Regulatory, Operations, Finance as required
  • Participates in cost reduction initiatives and lean improvement projects
  • Support SC with weekly ad-hoc reporting, issuing of POs, administering daily planning activities, and other projects/requests as needed

What You’ll Need:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; a focus in Supply Chain, Operations, or similar related fields strongly preferred.
  • At least 2-4+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management with an emphasis in Operations
    • CPG and experience with cosmetics, drug/OTC, prescription Rx and Pharmaceutical products highly preferred but not required.
  • Strong qualitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of analysis and metrics to drive continuous improvement and decision making.
    • Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle) highly preferred.
  • Polished negotiation skills and a proven track record of building rapport and managing external relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization/time management skills; demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever-changing environment; someone who thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly and feels confident working with multiple time zones.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technologies.
  • Possess an energetic, positive attitude that encourages a team and supports the growth and professional development of others.
