Role Overview:

  • Act as the primary facilitator for all logistical elements of outdoor and urban adventure initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Course Directors and Outdoor Adventure Managers to organize and support logistical operations.
  • Ensure clear, effective, and timely communication with students, instructors, Course Directors, Outdoor Adventure Managers, and other relevant personnel.
  • Manage student-related issues, including gear concerns, as necessary.
  • Assist staff with logistical requirements, including meal preparation, transportation coordination, and ensuring availability of gear and supplies for outdoor and climbing wall activities.
  • Establish and maintain efficient organizational systems.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals for large groups.
  • Handle food preparation in compliance with safe food handling standards, both in the field and in controlled environments.
  • Participate in and/or lead outdoor adventure training sessions.
  • Provide logistical assistance to the climbing wall program.
  • Address individual incidents and emergencies to guarantee the safety and well-being of all outdoor adventure participants.
  • Compile and maintain necessary documentation, data, and case files for outdoor adventure programs to capture incidents, program evaluations, ongoing learning, and overall program impact.
  • Drive safely on challenging terrain.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Valid U.S. driver's license held for a minimum of five years.
  • Capable of working long hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing physically demanding outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, late evenings, and overnight commitments.
