Role Overview


Our Director of Talent Acquisition will be the face of Vantaca to candidates interested in joining our growing SaaS company. An engaging conversationalist with exceptional business acumen, this person is organized and approachable to candidates and hiring teams alike. The Director will function as the lead Talent Acquisition strategist, handling full life cycle recruiting, partnering with hiring leaders and the People + Culture team, meeting the goals and metrics of Vantaca, while running day-to-day priorities. This individual will lead the development of high-level recruiting strategies, including the management of difficult-to-fill and high-touch positions.

Responsibilities


  • Develops and utilizes innovative and effective Talent Acquisition strategies designed to identify qualified professional, technical, and non-technical candidates through various sourcing methods and tools – LinkedIn Recruiter, Loxo, SalesQL, & Paylocity.
  • Uses appropriate enthusiasm and educated pitch to sell candidates on Vantaca’s world class culture and growth plans.
  • Leads multiple complex recruitment projects at the same time.
  • Research, targets, and cold-calls potential candidates using search engines, chat rooms, message boards, organization lists, publications, home pages, alumni associations, job fairs, community events, personal networks, referrals.
  • Ability to identify, convert, and persuade top tier passive candidates to learn more about openings at Vantaca.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers to create accurate recruitment forecasts and remains updated on vacancy trends within their departments.
  • Defines candidate qualifications by crafting detailed knowledge, skill requirements, and tailored screening questions for each role.
  • Assesses candidates' strengths and fit for the job by thoroughly evaluating, screening, and conducting interviews.
  • Extends employment offers, negotiating to final terms.
  • Partners with People + Culture team to complete administrative onboarding.
  • Ensures data integrity by entering recruiting and hiring data within all applicable human resources information system (HRIS) databases.
  • Prepares recruiting metrics and other reporting as required.
  • Develops a community presence by networking with local leaders and associations, further enhancing Vantaca’s strengthening employer brand.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and experience working the full recruitment cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, on-boarding, and utilization of applicant tracking systems is required.



Requirements:
  • Well organized, detail, and results-oriented, and has the capacity to proactively communicate and provide responsive follow-up to both candidates and hiring teams.
  • B.S. degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
  • Master’s or MBA preferred because there is a high level of business understanding required.
  • 5+ years of technical recruitment of exempt, technical, professional, and management level employees is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) – we use Paylocity.
