Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAssistant Property Manager - Multi-Family Salary Rate: $20Location: Columbia, SC 29204Shift: Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. & Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.We are currently seeking a skilled Assistant Property Manager for a multi-family property to join our team in Columbia, SC. The primary responsibility of this role is to work closely with the Property Manager and work directly with residents. What you will be doing:
  • Assumes responsibility for supervising staff and managing the property in the Manager’s absence.
  • Inspects property communal areas, apartment units, and grounds regularly. Communicates to residents regarding violations and compliance issues.
  • Understands financial and operational reporting requirements.
  • Collects all rent payments.
  • Oversees renewal efforts through processing of renewal letters to tenants, communications with tenants to secure renewal and executing renewal documents.
What is Required:
  • The ability to work on Saturdays.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A college degree or related coursework in business, hospitality or property management is beneficial.
  • Property management and leasing experience are essential.
  • Sales experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills are necessary.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience with OneSite and OPS property management and/or accounting software preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, good driving record and insurance.
