Job Description:

The Bilingual Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating daily operational activities to ensure the smooth functioning of the department. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can work independently and support various administrative and project management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and project management support to the department.
  • Manage communication, including answering calls, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.
  • Conduct research and prepare reports, meeting materials, and other documents as needed.
  • Oversee inventory control and procurement of office supplies.
  • Assist with budgeting, financial tracking, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support HR-related tasks such as hiring, training, and personnel documentation.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and agendas for the department.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and external requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in an operations or administrative role, preferably within a nonprofit organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
  • BA preferred but not required.
  • Experience with immigration, youth, or social service programs is a plus.
