Exceptional Metals, a Division of Holcim Solutions and Products US, LLC, has an opening for a General Sales Manager at our Corporate Headquarters located in Saginaw, Michigan. This position is responsible for sales, product and marketing strategies related to the success and growth of this business unit. This is a full-time, salary-based position with bonus potential, excellent benefits, and growth opportunities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for planning, developing, conducting, and evaluating sales strategies, product strategies, trainings and profitability of the metal product line.
  • Delivers strategic leadership and management practices to the organization by clearly communicating business goals, strategies, and accountabilities.
  • Lead and participate in the planning and formation of marketing and sales strategies.
  • Be an innovation catalyst by challenging the norm and leading change management by introducing new products to the market.
  • Audit orders and research and resolve issues to ensure customers receives the highest quality of service.
  • Plan quarterly overviews to increase sales and utilize monthly numbers ensure business unit meets safety, sustainability, growth, revenue, and sales target along with overall financial performance metrics.
  • Assist in monthly newsletter, marketing, literature and competitive information.
  • Initiate improvements in all facets with a main focus on contractor classes and tours.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
  • 5+ years sales management experience with a construction or metal roofing background.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and training background.
  • Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel for company business.
