Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionThe Administrative Associate will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The role of the Administrative Associate is to provide support, organization, data and analysis to the COO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and reconcile monthly MVP Operations credit card receipts. 
  • Provide special project support as needed.
  • Conduct preliminary research on a variety of topics and draft materials as needed for distribution throughout the Organization as requested by the COO.
  • Track tasks and projects to ensure appropriate prioritization of projects with respect to deadlines and organizational developments. 
  • Track incoming communications and ensure appropriate prioritization in coordination with the COO.

  • Draft and deliver organizational communications across MVP as deemed necessary by the COO.
  • Support the Chief Operations Officer in evaluating and data gathering on new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth strategies to expand the company's footprint in the eye care market.
  • Effectively harness data analytics and dashboarding to support the operations of the business, and to aid in supporting business plans and decisions through administrative support. 
  • Be present with teams when necessary, providing on the ground support during implementation of new projects and processes across all  MVP platforms.
  • Midwest Vision partners may modify your work locations, duties and responsibilities from time to time as deemed necessary by your Supervisor to achieve organizational results.

Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseKNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
  • Administrative, Business Administration, Ophthalmology operational understanding or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge with Excel, Powerpoint, Google, in MS Office, proficient in Nextech, Allscripts, Power BI, Corecentric.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Self starter, solution focused with ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of governmental regulations related to the Healthcare field.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining effective relationships with administration and  providers.
  • Highly organized, collaborative, detail oriented, and self motivated.
  • Flexible and resourceful approach.
  • Ability to consistently apply good judgment.


WHAT YOU KNOW:To be successful in this role you will have the following experience or knowledge:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous Ophthalmology/Optometry, healthcare, administrative  or customer service work experience preferred.
