What You'll Do:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our world class sales team and continue fueling long-term growth. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and revenue as you strategize, source, engage, negotiate, secure, and manage new distribution for our MEATER brand. You will focus on placing MEATER in the path of the consumer, expanding market share across the category, and driving profitable growth. You'll use your exceptional business acumen and interpersonal skills to influence internally and externally. You'll be a self-starter who can create opportunity from ambiguity. Responsibilities include building relationships, product training, pricing strategies, participating in trade shows and innovation initiatives, sharing progress reports, and maintaining transparency. Salt Lake City is the preferred location for this position, but willing to consider remote for the right candidate.

How You'll Help Us Win:

As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Conducting comprehensive industry research to identify key market opportunities & craft effective sales strategies and solutions to attack those opportunities
  • Actively promote our brand, products and services to prospective clients
  • Elevating and expanding trade show offense
  • Engaging in collaborative business meetings to keep key stakeholders updated
  • Scrutinizing sales contracts to ensure compliance with legal and corporate standards
  • Fostering customer interactions and respond to inquiries regarding our products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Producing and delivering accurate and reliable quarterly forecasts
  • Monitoring customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company sales leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Fostering high-performance culture, innovative thinking, and enterprise mindset throughout the organization
  • Managing key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • BA/BS preferred
  • 8+ years of business development experience in consumer electronics or consumer products preferred
  • Strong analytical, planning skills & negotiation skills
  • Exceptional negotiation & communication skills
  • Self-starter with the energy, drive, and determination to accomplish goals
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM)
