The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for supporting the full life-cycle of our Millennium Healthcare team members. As both a strategic and administrative role, the HR Coordinator has a host of responsibilities that aid in creating a highly engaging and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with employee relations issues, such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Partner with practice leadership and HRBPs to ensure all posters are in place and updated as required.•Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the MPG HRIS system.
  • Experience in Workers Compensation, record keeping, and claims required; attends quarterly review meetings with WC vendor and company leaders.
  • Administrator of FMLA processes and tracking thereof.
  • Processor of employment verifications.
  • General tasks associated with the position: Point person for HR email mailbox, HR phone call routing, mail sorting, shipping, supply orders, flower ordering.
  • Responsible for updating credentials in ADP
  • Processor of I9s and E-Verify
  • Respond to subpoenas
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate for a Human Resources Coordinator position will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is typically required, along with previous HR experience of 2+ years is preferred.
  • HR certifications, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, are a bonus.
  • Ability to encourage creativity and idea generation, inspire innovation in processes, and partner to cultivate a team that is known for strong customer service.
  • ADP payroll systems experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrates commitment and accountability and is self-confident in executing responsibilities, excellent corporate work ethic.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws at the local, state, and federal levels is beneficial.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Physical Demands

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion.Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing;viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Ability to lift to 15 lbs. independently not to exceed 50 lbs. without help.
