Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating HR policies, procedures, and programs to managers and staff, as well as managing the day-to-day administrative functions of the HR department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employee relations concerns, responding to employee concerns in a timely manner and escalating to the Administrator and CFC Human Resources Manager as necessary.
  • Oversee employee status changes, including transfers, terminations, full-time, and part-time status, completing necessary paperwork and communicating changes to the Bookkeeper.
  • Maintain accurate personnel record storage, conducting routine audits to ensure all regulated documents are found within each file.
  • Ensure timely completion of the 90-day review and annual evaluation processes, sending approved evaluation scores to payroll by the due date.
  • Enhance team relationships, morale, and retention through ongoing culture and engagement programs in collaboration with the Administrator.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, creating job requisitions, reviewing and screening applicants, and overseeing the referral of competent personnel.
  • Organize and schedule new employee orientation, distributing policies, procedures, and guidelines to all new employees.
  • Work with supervisors and benefit administrators to ensure new full-time employees have the opportunity to enroll in the group insurance plan.
  • Coordinate leave of absence policies and procedures, ensuring the ADA protocol is administered correctly in conjunction with the CFC Human Resources Manager.
  • Manage the Wage Scale for Compliance, making recommendations regarding wage scale changes and managing the compensation policy in consultation with the VP of HR.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required.
  • Three to Five years' experience in Human Resources required, with demonstrated knowledge of employee relations, workplace investigations, discrimination, and harassment, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business Administration preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Working Conditions

Standard use of workstation, repetitive use of keyboard, frequent bending and standing, and constant noise environments.
