Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the new hire process, maintaining employment records, and providing support during open enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the new hire process, including distributing exit interviews and tracking responses
  • Maintain up-to-date employment records and personnel files
  • Provide support during open enrollment, including serving as a benefits specialist
  • Conduct benefit audits and maintain benefits accrual information
  • Assure proper authorization of payroll actions and validate/organize payroll checks
  • Input employee work schedules into the workforce timekeeper system and input time records in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain applicable records for state and federal reporting
  • Distribute exceptions reports to supervisors/managers and prepare management reports as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • One year of Human Resources/payroll/clerical experience preferred
  • One year computer experience, including proficient use of spreadsheets and word processing preferred
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
