Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Fort Mill. The successful candidate will provide administrative and HR support to our corporate office, handling daily duties and assisting with recruitment, record maintenance, and clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process incoming mail, create and distribute documents, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including scheduling job interviews and coordinating the interview process.
  • Collect and verify employment, tax, and E-Verify information, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare new employee files, orient new employees to the organization, and provide payroll information.
  • Support the manager by scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, and maintaining records and information.
  • Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientation and providing a positive onboarding experience.
  • Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information, and maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (preferred) or 2 years of experience in an office business setting.
  • Strong verbal communication and interview skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Dependability, organization, and scheduling skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
