The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a critical role in shaping and executing the HR strategy for Beauty Industry Group. This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of HR practices and the ability to build strong relationships with leaders and employees. The Senior HRBP will work closely with leadership to drive initiatives that support business goals, improve employee engagement, and foster a positive work culture.


This is a hybrid role, requiring to be onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at our Chatsworth location.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Partner with senior leadership to understand business objectives and align HR strategies to support these goals.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of human resources, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and workforce planning.

Talent Management & Development:

  • Lead efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding, training, and development programs that enhance employee skills and career growth.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Change Management:

  • Support and lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Facilitate communication and training related to organizational changes.

Compliance & Policy Development:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures that reflect current best practices and legal requirements.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI):

  • Champion DEI initiatives, promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Work with leadership to create and implement strategies that advance DEI objectives.

HR Metrics & Reporting:

  • Analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and identify trends.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership on key HR indicators and progress towards goals.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior HRBP or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of CA employment laws, regulations, FMLA and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent management, employee relations, and change management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the beauty or consumer products industry is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring regular in-office presence in Chatsworth, CA, with some flexibility for remote work.
  • Occasional travel may be required
