Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in logistics and/or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Proven experience 4+ years in logistics management or related roles, with a track record of success in optimizing logistics operations and driving results.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, transportation modes, warehouse operations, and inventory management principles.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as ERP systems, WMS System, and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams)
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, lead change initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies and procedures related to logistics operations. Identify and mitigate logistics-related risks to minimize disruptions and losses.
  • Provide leadership and direction to logistics team members, including supervisors, leads, and warehouse staff. Foster a collaborative through cross functional departments and high-performance work environment focused on achieving departmental objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance and regularly monitor performance against targets. Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously evaluate logistics processes, identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements, and implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance logistics performance.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage, and order fulfillment, to ensure accurate and efficient handling of goods.
  • Coordinate and optimize transportation, modes, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing transportation cost.
  • Implement inventory control measures & 5S Warehousing to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce carrying costs while ensuring adequate stock availability to meet demand.
