The Key Account Lead plays a key role in managing and coordinating the activities of a logistics team to ensure efficient and effective operations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and excellent communication skills.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

** Schedule during Training: Monday - Friday: 8am-4:30pm

Hybrid Work Schedule after training is completed: 3 days in the office (Mon, Tue, Thurs), and 2 days remote (Wed and Fri).

Pay: $24 -$25/hr. Based on Experience

What will you be doing?

  • • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
    • Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
    • Portfolio, region, or lane is managed properly under the company policies guidelines.
    • Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.
    • Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
    • Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
    • Manage and develop logistics staff.
    • Help answer inbound dispatch calls when we have an increased phone call volume.
    • Collaborate with various departments, including accounting, to ensure month end audits are accurate.
    • Implement new tools, processes, and procedures to improve overall team efficiency.
    • Responsible for ensuring client service level agreements are being met.
    • Resolving escalated issues from the dispatch team such as upset drivers and customers.
    • Collaborate with IT to ensure client enhancements and issues are resolved in a timely manner

What are we looking for?

  • Previous account management experience preferred
  • Driven, enthusiastic, competitive, and results focused
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using order entry software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of transportation industry practices and regulations is advantageous.
