National Sales Manager Job Summary:

The National Sales Manager: Ag Equipment will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the Hiniker Ag Products business. This leadership position will help develop the sales and product roadmap to maximize Hiniker’s opportunities in the Ag Equipment industry. This leadership position will manage a team of 3rd party manufacturers representatives, an agriculture equipment dealership team, and Hiniker’s own team of inside and outside sales managers for the Ag industry. The National Sales Manager will work with engineering, manufacturing, and the other support functions to drive the commercial strategy, the product development roadmap, and will ensure customer feedback is translated into internal actions to improve quality, service, and breadth of product line. The ultimate measures of success for this leadership position will be the profitable growth of the Hiniker Ag Products business, and the maximization of share gain opportunities that support our dealer network.


National Sales Manager Skills/Abilities:

· Understanding of the key components of leading a profitable business; cost, revenue, discounts, capital requirements, real gross margin, etc.

· Ability to build relationships with manufacturer’s representatives, agricultural equipment dealers, OEM’s, and the internal Hiniker team.

· Passionate about leading with Hiniker’s core principles of Integrity, Trust and Respect.

· Ability to prioritize and communicate to the organization the initiatives that will drive growth and enhance our support of our customers and dealers

· Ability to identify and understand competitor trends, customer requirements, market opportunities

· Ability to take responsibility for delivering the company’s annual financial commitment

· Interest or skills relating to agriculture or the work truck industry.

· Proficient in technology required to perform in a leadership position in a professional organization.


National Sales Manager Key Responsibilities

· Understanding of product offering, applications and sales programs.

· Deliver annual commitment to financial results for the Ag Products business.

· Grow dealer base across multiple regions to address varying market opportunities.

· Build relationships with OEM’s where Hiniker product line would be complimentary to their dealers.

· Develop sales plans that enhance dealer growth opportunities.

· Gather market feedback from customers, dealers, reps, trade shows, and OEM’s to address future growth opportunities, identify competitive trends, position Hiniker for sustained growth and profitability.

· Prioritize product and commercial roadmap, and work across functions within Hiniker to maximize Hiniker overall ag growth opportunities.

· Develop parts growth strategy.

· Develop and assist marketing team in creating sales support tools, training, dealer training tools, and more.

· Assist leadership team in developing annual business plan.

· Update customer data within ERP system as needed.

· Quote or support team in quoting customer opportunities

· Participate in Hiniker board reviews with Kinperium team to develop go-forward strategy and communicate financial and operational results.

Requirements:

National Sales Manager Education and Experience

· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.

· Bachelors degree in a business field is preferred.

· 10+ years of sales experience, with 5+ years in a sales leadership role


National Sales Manager Pay Scale

· Base plus quarterly sales incentive plan
