About the role:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks designed to assist the Human Resources department. This position maintains accurate and timely documentation for personnel records in order to be in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, Joint Commission regulations, and BCN’s Corporate Compliance plan. This position is also responsible for updates within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) including hires, transfers, terminations, pay increases, and other updates to team member records such as validating/updating team member licenses and certifications, background checks, and launching of performance assessments. The incumbent coordinates new team member HR onboarding, maintains files and documents for the HR department, and generates HR reports as needed.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED, and four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquirers, regulatory agencies, or members of the health care community.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate skills for communicating with all employees and management staff. Ability to effectively present information to a group and communicate with medical professionals.
  • Ability to generate documents using Microsoft Office, conforming to assigned requests.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical analysis, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to work a variety of computer programs, including but not limited to, Human Resources software and Microsoft Office. Experience with Paylocity and SharePoint, preferred.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements, with personal auto liability insurance in compliance the state insurance laws governing liability, property damage, and bodily injury.
  • Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
