The Customer Care Manager is responsible for maintaining consistency in the office. Duties include data entry of client information, maintaining non-clinical notes in the proprietary CRM, developing schedules, coordinating orientation training for new staff and other tasks as needed for employee and client well-being. This stellar employee works cross-functionally with the billing manager, administrator, human resources generalist, and Director of Nursing to ensure the highest level of service and timely coordination happens. The Customer Care Manager will schedule warm introductions, management of touchpoints (field staff, care recipient) and client standards to ensure the agency meets or exceeds inquiry conversion goals.

**This position flexes between both in-office and field work**

Duties Include:
  • Develop monthly and quarterly caregiver care schedule. Coordinate staff vacations, callouts and any other time off needs as needed.
  • Schedule warm introductions, management of touchpoints (field staff, care recipient), and client standards to ensure agency meets or exceeds inquiry conversion goals.
  • Update database for hospitalizations and transfers; communicates to care staff of appropriate changes.
  • Assists with New Hire Training.
  • Is an excellent representative of BrightStar Care and supports and upholds all company policies, care philosophy and mission statement.
  • Discusses with nursing staff any changes needing to be reflected in client care plans. Changes in physical, emotional, mental, or behavioral condition, unusual symptoms, accidents, injuries, or unusual occurrences, and reports promptly to a licensed nurse.
  • Ensures most current updated care plan is available in the clients home for client and family to read.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources for new employee orientation start dates to ensure new personnel are provided with the necessary training to meet the state regulations and company requirements.
  • Is back up caregiver in field when shifts are not covered. This could include nights and weekends.
  • Perform similar or related duties as required or directed.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray and COVID-19 vaccination documentation.
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required; working with seniors in a long-term care or residential care setting preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year in medical scheduling or staff/client coordination in a fast pace, high volume setting required.
  • Excellent professional references with the ability to pass background checks, DMV, and drug screen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, & Excel), scheduling software, and internet is required.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and project management skills required which include utilizing time appropriately toward accomplishing assigned tasks. The ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders cooperatively and respectively with management and other employees is required.
  • Ability/willingness to cover caregiver shifts as assigned or as needed.
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, maturely, and professionally through written and oral with residents, families, employees, vendors, and the public. Adequate and clear English speaking and writing ability.
  • Maintain a professional appearance with an organized workspace.
  • Ability/willingness to work longer than average eight (8) hour shift; work holidays or overtime; to work seven (7) day schedule.
  • Must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without causing a significant safety threat to self or others.
Physical Requirements include the ability to exert 50 lbs. of force occasionally by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects. Ability to bend, twist, squat and/or reach frequently and consistently while performing tasks. Ability to spend long periods on feet and to ambulate quickly. Ability to work safely and to recognize potentially dangerous situations.
