Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Manager & Caregiver to join our team. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of our home and providing hands-on care to our residents with neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and experience in caregiving or residential management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized daily care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the home, maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Administer medications and closely monitor residents' health and well-being.
  • Organize engaging activities and outings to promote resident engagement and enhance their quality of life.
  • Supervise and support additional caregiving staff as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with residents' families and healthcare providers, ensuring clear and timely information sharing.
Qualifications
  • Completion of EQC class and Adult Foster Home Orientation and Record Keeping training.
  • Previous experience in adult foster home management is preferred.
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic personality with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • The ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred or a willingness to obtain it.
