We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Manager / Live-In Caregiver to join our team at Arcadia Senior Care LLC. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of our adult foster home and providing hands-on care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Resident Care: Provide daily care and support to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Home Operations: Manage the overall operations of the home, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and monitor residents' health and well-being.
- Activity Coordination: Coordinate activities and outings to promote resident engagement and quality of life.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and support additional caregiving staff as needed.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents' families and healthcare providers.
- Education and Training: EQC class completed, Adult Foster Home Orientation and Record Keeping completed.
- Experience: Previous experience in adult foster home management.
- Personality and Skills: Compassionate, patient, and empathetic personality. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
