The role of the Clinical Training Specialist is pivotal in facilitating comprehensive training programs for newly onboarded medical assistants and other clinical staff. They are tasked with providing hands-on, in-person training sessions, ensuring proficiency and competency in clinical responsibilities as well as administrative tasks. Moreover, the Clinical Training Specialist oversees Floating Medical Assistants, ensuring consistent adherence to training protocols and best practices across AllCare centers. This position will travel to AllCare locations in Georgia.

Requirements:
  • Current active LPN or RN required (maintained active throughout employment)
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Five+ years of clinical training with a primary care/immediate care background, strongly preferred
  • Experience conducting orientation training programs in a variety of settings, including in person and virtual
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for education and development
  • Strong computer skills – Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint and SharePoint), formatting, drafting and updating documents, creating workflow documentation, Smartsheet use and other computer program knowledge
  • Knowledge of computerized information systems (EHR), Athena preferred
  • Organized, detail oriented and the ability to multi-task and maintain detailed training records
  • Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA and other state/federal healthcare requirements and regulations
  • Center level field team members to include Medical Assistants, Front Desk, Physicians, and APPs
  • AllCare administrative team members
  • Provide comprehensive orientation training to new medical assistants and center leadership teams, covering clinical procedures, patient care protocols, and administrative tasks.
  • Train providers on EHR navigation and assist with onboarding and orientation training.
  • Deliver standardized curriculum to ensure consistency and quality in training programs across different locations and diverse audiences.
  • Conduct on-site training and assess performance of trainees through observation, return demonstration, and skills assessments.
  • Provide constructive guidance and support for improvement where needed.
  • Deliver engaging hands-on training sessions that introduce new hires to AllCare's mission, values, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor for medical assistants, offering ongoing support and guidance to enhance their performance.
  • Conduct targeted remediation training as identified and requested by center leadership team.
  • Supervise Floating Medical Assistants to ensure consistent training practices and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and opportunities for continuous improvement in clinical operations.
  • Assess the effectiveness of orientation and onboarding programs through feedback and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Flexibility to work various schedules, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate training schedules.
  • Travel. The role will require local travel between locations of assigned region or market.
