Position Summary:
Clinical Nurse Specialist / RN Level III, GI
Endoscopy Schedule:
Full Time 7am-5:30 pm. This role is based in a facility with multiple pre-operative and post-operative bays, along with dedicated anesthesia rooms.
The position involves a full-time commitment of 4 days per week, each consisting of 10-hour shifts, with on-call responsibilities.We are looking for a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist / RN who possesses extensive experience in patient care and a deep understanding of specific patient demographics.
Regularly applies knowledge, theory, research, and practical experience to adapt to evolving clinical scenarios.Demonstrates the ability to implement the Synergy Model for Care in practice, utilizing this framework to customize care for each patient and their family.
Provides safe, reliable, and effective care to a designated patient population independently, employing the nursing process.Assesses patient responses to planned interventions and modifies care plans as necessary.
Integrates the AACN Synergy Model into everyday clinical practice.
Collects, reports, analyzes, and shares data consistently as required by physicians and interdisciplinary teams in line with organizational standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or successful completion of a re-entry nursing program.
Must hold a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit sanctioned by the relevant licensing authority.BLS certification is mandatory, and ACLS certification may be required in specific departments.
