Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNations Roof is seeking an experienced and professional Sales Administrator to support our Roofcare Sales team and general office support.

This position is based in Mobile, AL and will be 100% in the office with a Monday-Friday schedule 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Nations Roof is one of the largest commercial roofing contractors, ranked in the Top 5 Roofing Contractors in the US. Our projects range in scope from large scale new commercial construction, industrial, hospitality, distribution centers, retail centers, office buildings, multifamily and green roofs to large renovations of existing buildings.


Primary Responsibilities:

The Sales Administrator, under the direct of the Administrative Manager (or other direct report listed above), will be responsible for supporting the sales team with administrative duties, collaborating with managers to track sales activities and performance metrics, and ensuring effective use of Salesforce CRM. This role is essential for maintaining organized sales operations, tracking sales data, and contributing to strategic decision-making.


Specific Job Duties:

  • Sales Operations: Assist with daily administrative tasks related to sales operations, including data entry, document management, and schedule coordination.
  • Handling Orders: Review and process construction project orders, including verifying details such as product specifications, invoices, quickbids are tracked, where required.
  • Customer Interaction: Assist in communication with clients and prospects as needed, ensuring timely responses and accurate information.
  • Activity Tracking: Collaborate with managers to monitor and track sales activities, including lead generation, follow-ups, and conversion rates.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to track and report on sales performance, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and ROI.
  • Dashboard set up and maintenance of Salesforce dashboards to provide real-time visibility into sales metrics and performance indicators.
  • Metrics Tracking: Develop and maintain sales metrics tracking systems to monitor key performance indicators and sales activities.
  • User Setup and Management: Manage user accounts, including setup, permissions, and troubleshooting within Salesforce CRM.
  • System Updates: Perform regular updates and maintenance on Salesforce to ensure system accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and other key metrics.
  • Training: Provide training and support to sales team members on Salesforce functionalities and best practices.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and coordinate with team to resolve any issues or questions related to Salesforce CRM functionality and usage.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales operations and data accuracy.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with management on special projects related to sales operations and CRM enhancements.
  • Location Coordination: Provide support to various division locations across the U.S., ensuring consistent CRM practices and addressing location-specific needs.
  • Under direction from management, facilitate communication and information sharing between divisions to ensure alignment and support.
  • Maintains relationships between the organization and outside consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the project management/development tracking tool.
  • Receives, organizes, and maintains all construction documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively plan, organize and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality. Intermediate computer skills required. (Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Familiarity with Salesforce customization, reporting tools, and metrics tracking. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including dashboard creation, reporting, and user management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Salesforce certifications are a plus. Any equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
