Position Summary:

As an Administrative Assistant at Threaded Fasteners, Inc., you will be instrumental in facilitating the daily functions of our fastener production operations. This diverse role encompasses administrative responsibilities, documentation management, and overseeing material certifications to uphold our commitment to quality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support across various departments.
  • Draft and refine reports, documents, and correspondence.
  • Assist in organizing the scheduling of material deliveries and pickups with logistics personnel.
  • Provide administrative assistance to office staff, including filing, photocopying, and managing office supplies.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails, taking messages and addressing routine inquiries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication via email and phone.
  • Manage the collection and organization of material certifications for all incoming products.
  • Ensure that all material certifications are accurate, complete, and adhere to industry standards.
  • Maintain both digital and physical filing systems for material certifications and related documents.
  • Work with the Quality Control team to verify certification accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Input data into databases and keep records related to materials, certifications, and inventory up to date.
  • Generate reports summarizing certification data for stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and standards regarding materials and certifications.
  • Assist in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality control and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative roles, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial context.
  • Familiarity with material certifications and quality control processes is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Documents, and data entry.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations is a plus.
