This position requires a proven track record in managing internal and external resources for client events, budget planning, and cross-departmental collaboration. Responsibilities include developing solutions for client challenges, creating production schedules, and managing the entire process of hosting events. The Events Manager will oversee expectations, processes, and multiple projects while maintaining the company’s ethical standards. Leading event coordinators or senior servers onsite is essential, as well as conducting site surveys and acting as the key point of contact for clients and their agencies. This role includes direct oversight of sales and events, developing operating plans and budgets, and working with management teams to maximize sales and optimize profits. Participation in financial review meetings and the analysis of event programs and revenues are necessary. Additionally, the Events Manager will provide training, monitor contracts and expenses, and create strategies to maximize market performance.Benefits:

Qualifications:
  • The Restaurant Catering and Events Manager should have 2+ years’ experience as Special Events Manager in high-volume fine dining operations
  • Proven event management experience and strong contacts within the events and meetings industry is required for the Restaurant Catering and Events Manager
  • The Restaurant Catering and Events Manager must be proficient in Microsoft Office and company-specific systems (Tripleseat, Resy, Avero, Aloha/Micros, Google Drive)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, and electronic) is required for the Restaurant Catering and Events Manager
  • The Restaurant Catering and Events Manager must have the ability to work flexible hours with excellent time management skills
