- Assist with the recruitment process under the leadership of the HR Generalist by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities with the HR Generalist, including preparing orientation materials, and processing new hire paperwork in the HRIS database.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) database.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Generalist & General Manager, by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents and reports.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned, such as employee engagement programs, performance management processes, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Stay informed about relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of human resources.
- Backup to the Receptionist as needed. (ex. breaks, lunches or office errands).
- Previous experience in an administrative role or internship experience in HR is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
2-4 years of relevant HR support experience. High School Diploma, required. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
