Patient Services Coordinator/Customer Service Coordinator

Patient Service Coordinators are vital members of our clinic’s team and often the first and last point of contact at our front desk. PSCs provide quality customer service while managing front desk operations and administrative duties. Ideal candidates are personable, highly-motivated individuals who possess a friendly, professional demeanor and a desire to help others. We are proud to support employees at all levels in developing their professional skills while also building relationships that will last a lifetime.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide high quality customer service
- Greet patients and visitors entering clinic
- Answer telephones and direct calls accordingly
- Explain all forms to ensure completion such as intake and insurance documents
- Input documents and data accurately in electronic medical record
- Schedule appointments
- Collect patient payments
Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - 7:00pm.

Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers is Connecticut's largest private-practice physical therapy company with 32 locations around the state serving more than 20,000 patients every year. President Alan Balavender, a physical therapist himself, purchased and started the first PTSMC clinic in Waterbury in 2000. Balavender established a 'partnership model' that supports physical therapists who want to own and operate their own clinics, and has since helped more than 20 clinicians realize that goal.
