Job DescriptionJob DescriptionStrategic Risk Solutions Inc. (SRS), the world’s largest independent insurance company manager, is growing and looking for a strategic and driven Sales Support Associate to join our Garnet Captive Services Division.

This remote Bay Area based position will be responsible for sales support activities for the California Senior Business Development Executive.    Responsibilities and Duties
  • Create and execute business strategies for expansion of existing captive programs
  • Establish long-term agency relationships and ensure success of existing programs with a chief focus on continuous growth 
  • Effectively communicate captive participation and the value proposition of captive programs
  • Review new business submissions and related underwriting data to develop quotes with carrier and vendor partners
  • Deliver effectively in a variety of presentation settings; formal, one-on-one, small and large groups, with peers, and leaders
  • Support senior salesperson in executing CA growth plans
Attributes and Skills
  • 1+ years of proven commercial lines experience; Property & Casualty 
  • Experience within Captive/Alternative Risk nice to have
  • Established commercial broker relationships are nice to have
  • Ability and drive to foster new agency relationships
  • Ability and willingness to work closely with a member of the management team to execute CA growth plans
  • Performs work accurately and to the best of their ability, capable of problem solving
  • Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic team and provide feedback
  • Travel required; percentage dependent on location of candidates’ home office
