Position Overview:
The Market Research and Strategy Associate will support the client's engagements through comprehensive market research and strategic analysis. The successful candidate will be crucial in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, utilizing TopRight's cutting-edge audience intelligence platforms to derive actionable insights for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research using TopRight's audience intelligence platforms to support client engagements.
- Manage and execute various research methodologies, including in-depth interviews, focus groups, stakeholder workshops, brand audits, audience segmentation studies, and quantitative research on brand equity, messaging, and market positioning.
- Perform positioning analyses, competitive analyses, and brand audits.
- Conduct desk research to gather relevant market data and insights.
- Utilize TopRight's technology stack for social listening, sentiment, contextual, and segmentation analyses.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and deliverables for internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of research findings into strategic recommendations.
- Assist in crafting and developing brand strategies, platforms, architecture, and integrated marketing plans, leveraging the insights from research.
- Communicate the impact of audience insights on clients' marketing and messaging strategies.
- Analyze marketing and branding performance post-campaign implementation.
- Provide strategic recommendations for improvements based on data insights and research findings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and industry developments.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, behavioral science, psychology, statistics, economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in market research, strategy, marketing, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in using research tools and software (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Pulsar, Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Travel required up to 10-25%.
- Experience with advanced statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
- Familiarity with novel market research technologies and methodologies.
- Has a proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
- Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience.
