About This Role

Reporting to the Associate Director of Contracts & Pricing Governance, the Manager will assist and act as a resource for the Pricing, Policy & Contracts (PPC) team to solve complex operational challenges and implement solutions.  The Manager role supports a dynamic market access department that adds value to the overall business through planning and strategic collaboration throughout the organization. This role requires coming into the office at least 1x/week and additionally as needed.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support initiatives associated with revenue leakage
  • Conduct formulary and policy research for payer invoices to ensure contract compliance and rebate eligibility
  • Work with Account Managers and Contract Operations team to ensure appropriate documents are obtained to validate rebates
  • Drive standardization and the adoption of best practices across the PPC team
  • Author, review, revise Standard Operating Procedures, processes, and policies
  • Support activities associated with State Price Transparency reporting
  • Assist with other tasks and projects as they arise to support the wider aims of the PPC team

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 4+ years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, specifically in market access
  • Demonstrates understanding of the healthcare landscape as it relates to access, reimbursement, and rebates
  • Excellent oral and written communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Superb interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Process improvement and project management experience
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to effectively prioritize to meet personal and team goals
  • Strong change champion and comfortable navigating a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrate strategic enterprise thinking to find innovative ways to increase process efficiency

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge of State Drug Price Transparency laws and reporting
  • Ability to read and understand State laws and regulations as well as payer contracts
  • Experience with pharmaceutical claims data (pharmacy and medical)
  • Knowledge of covered entities and 340B claims
