We are currently hiring a Production Control Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
Oversees the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of products through the complete production cycle.
Manages and monitors materials, equipment availability, and problems in the production cycle.
Determines requirements (labor, material, equipment, etc.) for processes and production orders.
Improves the scheduling system.
Collaborates with other departments to improve process flows and production control systems.
Works with other departments to plan complicated or expedited orders to meet the customers' needs.
Provides timely production status updates to management, customer service, etc.
Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine the most efficient schedule.
Supports other Production Control Coordinators with lot tracking, scheduling, and generating purchase requisitions.
Job Requirements:
Education: AA/AS degree minimum, BA/BS preferred
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience
General Requirements (skills, experience, demonstrated abilities):
Excellent oral and written communication.
Exceptional planning, tracking, and organization skills.
Multi-tasking and coping skills for working in a high pressure, quick-turn environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy (low error rate).
Intermediate computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) and Windows.
Ability to lead meetings.
Ability to train small groups or individuals.
Safety-conscious, dependable, diligent, quick-learner, self-motivated.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail with project management and organization skills.
Physical Attributes Required:
Sitting, standing, walking, computer and/or phone use up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to lift 20 lbs.
