We are actively seeking a Production Operations Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the planning, scheduling, and oversight of products throughout the entire production process.
  • Manage and assess the availability of materials and equipment, addressing any issues that arise during production.
  • Identify requirements for labor, materials, and equipment necessary for production orders.
  • Enhance the scheduling system for improved efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimize process flows and production control mechanisms.
  • Coordinate with other teams to plan complex or expedited orders to fulfill customer demands.
  • Provide timely updates on production status to management and customer service teams.
  • Utilize judgment within established procedures to determine the most effective scheduling methods.
  • Assist fellow Production Operations Coordinators with lot tracking, scheduling, and generating purchase requisitions.

Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of an AA/AS degree; BA/BS preferred.

Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional planning, tracking, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) and Windows.
  • Aptitude for leading meetings and training small groups or individuals.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, diligent, quick to learn, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer and/or phone for up to 8 hours daily.
  • Capability to lift up to 20 lbs.
