The Accounting Integrations Specialist role will be a supporting role to the Financial Reconciliation and Transition team. This role will assist with new agency onboarding, transitions, interim accounting and oversight and analysis of new agencies’ accounting. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, have excellent organizational skills and enjoy working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.


This position will be hybrid and based out of either one of our offices in Charleston SC, Gainesville FL, or Manchester NH.

Requirements:
  • Assist with accounting onboarding for new agencies including reviewing opening balances.
  • Assist with annual activities such as year-end audits and 1099 information.
  • Assist with monthly income review to budget and research variances with agencies and accounting team.
  • Provide additional support as needed to accounting team.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA):

  • Vertafore platforms or similar agency management software experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Minimum (3) three years of experience in accounting, auditing and/or financial analysis required.
  • Insurance brokerage/related industry accounting background preferred.
  • Prior experience with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prior experience working with both the income statement and balance sheet required.
  • Prior variance analysis, preferred.
