Overview

BestLogic Staffing is in search of a meticulous and organized Accounting and Administrative Specialist to support our client’s operations.

The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining financial documentation, managing office procedures, and facilitating the efficient functioning of the workplace.

This position demands a proactive individual with excellent communication abilities and a firm grasp of accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain precise financial documentation, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.

2. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.

3. Generate financial reports, budgets, and statements as necessary.

4. Assist in tax return preparation and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.

5. Oversee invoicing, expense reporting, and petty cash management.

6. Supervise daily office activities to promote efficiency and productivity.

7. Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders as required.

8. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including mail, emails, and phone calls.

9. Coordinate office events, meetings, and appointments.

10. Maintain and update company databases and filing systems.

11. Assist in the onboarding process for new employees and manage personnel records.

Qualifications

- High school diploma required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience in a bookkeeping, office administration, or similar capacity.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
