Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMBS is hiring a Environmental Health and Safety in Cincinnati, OH. This position is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish and manage safety committees to enhance team involvement.
  • Develop and conduct comprehensive EH&S training programs.
  • Drive communication initiatives to foster a robust safety culture.
  • Lead regular workplace inspections to identify and address hazards.
  • Provide technical expertise during accident investigations and change management processes
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and manage related programs.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.
  • Thorough understanding of safety, training, and worker’s compensation practices.
  • Manufacturing experience with large group (over 100)
  • The role may require occasional lifting and movement of up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities and hearing are necessary for reading, writing, and communication
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of safety systems and practices preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.
