The Environmental Health and Safety Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the well-being of our workforce. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and oversee safety committees to promote employee engagement.

A Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline is required, along with 5-8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Expertise in project management and problem-solving.
  • A comprehensive understanding of safety protocols, training, and workers' compensation practices.

Additional Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

  • A proven history of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with safety systems and practices is preferred.

Physical Demands:

This role may involve occasional lifting and movement of items weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision and hearing abilities are necessary for effective communication and task execution.
