Responsibilities- Evaluate current procurement processes, policies, and practices to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and recommend procurement strategies that align with organizational goals, including sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Assist in identifying, selecting, and managing suppliers, including evaluating supplier performance, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with contracts.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, volume consolidation, and process improvements.
- Design and implement process improvements to streamline procurement workflows, enhance efficiency, and reduce cycle times.
- Recommend and support the implementation of procurement technology solutions, including e-procurement systems, spend analytics tools, and automation solutions.
- Assess and manage procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and contractual risks.
- Work closely with client teams and stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure alignment with procurement strategies and goals.
- Develop and deliver training programs and materials to enhance procurement skills and knowledge within client organizations.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, recommendations, and progress to clients and senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or consulting.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management practices.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and manage change effectively.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, including ERP systems, spend analytics, and e-procurement platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements.
