The Department of Information Resources is seeking a skilled individual for the role of Contract Administration Manager I. This position is integral to our procurement operations, focusing on the management and oversight of contracts essential to our agency's mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate procurement activities for Enterprise and Shared Technology Services, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Develop and refine departmental policies and procedures to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Review and evaluate vendor proposals, ensuring adherence to administrative requirements.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initiation to award.
  • Provide expert consultation to internal stakeholders, aligning contract specifications with organizational needs.
  • Engage in training and maintain necessary certifications to uphold professional standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in procurement processes, including solicitation development and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of state procurement laws and regulations.
