Job Description:

As the Senior Director of Business Operations at Augmentjobs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision of our company. This leadership position demands a highly experienced and strategic individual who can drive operational excellence, optimize processes, and ensure seamless integration across various business units. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of operational strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and enhancing overall organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the long-term operational strategy to support the company's business objectives. Collaborate with senior executives to align operations with overall company goals.

  • Operational Efficiency: Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies across all business functions. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of senior managers and directors. Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure effective collaboration between different departments including finance, human resources, marketing, and IT. Facilitate smooth communication and integration of business processes.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of operational initiatives. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments.

  • Project Management: Oversee major projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and drive operational success.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in business operations, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic management in a senior role.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in leading large, cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with company goals and drive operational excellence.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.

  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with executives, team members, and external stakeholders.

  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex projects and initiatives, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies.

  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial management skills, including budget development and oversight.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a demonstrated capacity for managing change and driving results.
