Position Summary:
The Business Planning and Operations division within the People Team is tasked with establishing benchmarks, refining essential processes, and enhancing operational effectiveness throughout the organization. The role of the Manager will assist in the implementation of strategies that foster engagement, productivity, and impact. The ideal candidate will bring a distinctive blend of operational proficiency, analytical depth, and a natural inquisitiveness, coupled with robust program management and communication capabilities. This individual contributor position reports to the Senior Director of Business Planning and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance processes to ensure the team meets its objectives.
  • Coordinate reviews of Business Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Facilitate financial planning and workforce management in collaboration with Finance and People Business Partners.
  • Identify and promote collaboration opportunities across teams.
  • Design and contribute to presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Manage special projects from conception through to execution, ensuring clear communication and defined outcomes.
  • Research industry best practices to support team members in optimizing internal consulting and program initiatives.

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid role, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office work. Employees in hybrid positions are expected to be present in the office 2-3 days a week, as determined by leadership and site requirements.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree, or no experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:
6+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years with an advanced degree, along with 5-8 years of professional experience in management consulting or business operations. The candidate should be a collaborative team player who can engage effectively with diverse individuals across various levels. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, including proficiency in creating compelling presentations.

Additional Information:
Work Hours: Flexible based on departmental needs.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be necessary (5-10%).
Mental/Physical Requirements: This role will be performed in an office environment, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively, and operate standard office equipment.
