Job DescriptionJob Description

The Finance Manager is a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the financial health of an organization. This position involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, financial analysis and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Finance Manager plays a crucial role by providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.  The Financial Manager will carry out all responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable laws.    

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Oversee operations of company’s finance department, including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
  • Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws and internal policies.
  • Other duties as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Capability of handling multiple duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Five years previous work experience in a financial role
  • Experience managing subordinates
