Position Summary:

We are in search of a Wealth Management Associate to assist our Wealth Managers in providing a complete suite of wealth management services. The preferred candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Planning and will either hold or be pursuing CPA or CFP certification. Previous experience in an accounting firm, family office, or wealth management setting, particularly with personal income tax returns, is advantageous. This role is technical and client-focused, responsible for the analytical tasks involved in creating comprehensive deliverables for our clientele. The position entails a moderate level of direct client interaction, as well as collaboration with clients' other advisors, including attorneys, accountants, and insurance professionals. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in various software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting preparation and analysis of long-term projections of net worth and cash flows, utilizing Monte Carlo simulations to evaluate the feasibility of and progress toward specific client objectives.
  • Creating Net Worth statements and other financial planning documents tailored to specific financial decisions, estate planning, investment evaluations, insurance needs assessments, etc.
  • Analyzing investment portfolio reports.
  • Generating income tax projections.
  • Preparing agendas and analyses for client meetings.
  • Producing various analyses as required based on client needs and circumstances.
  • Documenting notes from client meetings and composing detailed follow-up communications.

Preferred Skills and Applications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with BNA Income Tax Planner.
  • Familiarity with Financial Planning Software.
  • Knowledge of Black Diamond Performance Reporting.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
