How you will make an impact as a Talent Acquisition Manager:

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for overseeing the Attraction and Brand strategy, Selection processes, and Team development & leadership. This role empowers ADVENT to effectively attract, source, select, and hire the ideal talent to bolster our expanding organization and fulfill our mission of unlocking patient potential. A key emphasis is placed on developing and executing proactive community and industry Branding strategies.

  • Own the overall organizational employment value proposition, working with organizational leadership, HR and Marking to effectively communicate our inspired employment brand.
  • Ensure the TA systems and processes are designed to enable our time to fill metrics and provide critical data insights for improvements, celebrating wins and identifying opportunities
  • Own the Applicant Tracking System design and processes. Establish reporting capabilities to provide data driven insight through technology
  • Act as a thought leader in establishing innovative practices when it comes to talent selection, including process, assessments and data driven approaches, creative solutions, and a growth mindset
  • Lead recruitment of management and leadership role efforts
  • Ensure the highest of standards to ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience, establishing proactive communication techniques and strong execution of the recruitment process
  • Select, coach, and develop staff. Set clear expectations to inspire and motivate the team. Manage performance-- recognizing achievement, providing feedback, and administering progressive discipline when necessary
  • Create a valued partnership and relationship between the Talent Acquisition team and the hiring community

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, including strategic leadership of recruitment team and function, experience mentoring or supervising others, and process or project ownership
  • Prefer 4-5+ years of leadership experience leading talent acquisition teams and strategy within a mid-size or larger organization
  • Demonstrated innovation in social platforms, candidate communications and advertisement approaches related to targeting the right talent pools, preferably in the healthcare and or tech industries
  • Proven capabilities partnering and educating business leaders on recruitment, interviewing and selection strategies
  • Demonstrated system savviness with experience improving or establishing applicant tracking systems, automated functionality and reporting to provide analytics that inform business decisions
