Our Fortune 100 client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Project Manager to join our Talent projects team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading large-scale projects from initiation to completion. Your expertise in project management methodologies and your strong leadership skills will ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget, on time, and in line with stakeholders' expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, setting milestones, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead project teams, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure effective collaboration and achievement of project goals.
- Implement and utilize project management best practices, methodologies, and tools to drive successful project delivery.
- Ensure effective communication and reporting with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular project updates.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Monitor project budget, resource allocation, and overall project health, taking necessary actions to keep projects on track.
- Conduct project post-mortems, capturing lessons learned and implementing improvements for future projects.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in project management practices, sharing knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering complex projects, ideally in a senior-level capacity.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, resource management, and risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and ensuring effective project delivery.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project objectives.
