Center Point Healthcare and Rehab is currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated Assistant Administrator to join our team. We are looking for a leader who is innovative and can provide oversight of facility operations while pursuing optimal customer service, quality of care, and quality of life.

The Assistant Administrator will help the Administrator maintain systems that are effective and efficient to operate the facility in a manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Clinical Specialty
  • Clinical background and license preferred
  • Current knowledge of trends and regulations in health care
  • Complies will all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
  • Understanding of financial reports
  • Long-term care facility experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership ability

Job duties:

  • Report to the Administrator, either in verbal or written form, all duties performed during the Administrator’s absence.
  • Identify and manage all emergencies pertaining to the facility in the absence of the Administrator.
  • Enforce the facility policies and procedures in the absence of the Administrator.
  • Arbitrate complaints and disputes concerning residents, families and personnel in Administrator’s absence.
  • Assist with inspections performed by regulatory agencies, as assigned, in the absence of the Administrator.
  • Serve as representative of the facility to residents, families and the general public.
  • Perform all duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner.
  • Observe infection control procedures.
  • Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
  • Be responsible for the safety of residents under his/her supervision.
  • Observe all facility policies and procedures.
  • Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
  • Assume accountability for all data in the employees’ handbook.
  • Assume duties related to identification, investigation and follow up on concerns identified in the facility Quality Indicator report as assigned.
  • Assume Quality Assurance duties as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by the Administrator.
  • Come to work in neat, clean attire and consistently present an appropriate professional appearance.
  • Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
  • Consistently work cooperatively with residents, residents’ representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants and ancillary service providers.
